| “Hello, my name is Isabel Chiprez, your future massage therapist. I want to make this world a better place by introducing my knowledge of child massage, teen massage, infant massage, and fertility massage to your family. I grew up living in a holistic healing family. In our family, we believe in natural, holistic healing and the power of natural remedies. I remember growing up, as soon as I got an itchy throat, my grandma would boil oregano, rosemary, and chamomile. She would make us drink it with a little honey to sweeten the taste. The next thing you know, I did not get a cold! I remember her having many herbal remedies for everything, but what I remember most is her massage. I loved my grandma's massage; it would always make me feel better. My cousins and I were always debating over who was first. I remember my grandma also massaging other people, women and babies in particular. Women would come in to receive a fertility massage, after trying to conceive for a few years without success. About 90% of the time, women would become pregnant within a few months. My grandma would also massage babies to help with Colic, Intestinal difficulties, clogged Tear Duct, Motor Skills Disorders, and much more. I am proud to say that I learned natural healing ways from my grandma, and my grandma learned from my great-grandma, and my great-grandma learned from her mom, and so on. I feel blessed to continue our family's traditions that have been passed down from many generations. | Massage is an alternative form of healing the body. I grew up around massage. I remember my grandma massaging me for anything—headache, growing pains, sport-related injuries—to relax me at the end of a day. My grandma was always there to massage. Massage is like second nature to me. In my family, as long as I can remember, my grandma always massaged babies, children, and teens. My grandma also did fertility massages. These skills were passed down from her mom. My great-grandma was a Midwife, Doula, and Massage Therapist as well as a Holistic Master Herbalist, and these skills were passed down to her from my great-great-grandma. As I got older, I knew that this was also my calling. I want to share with all the families in America how massage can change a family environment for better well being physically and emotionally. At Isabel's Family Massage, I am dedicated to teaching and performing a safe therapeutic massage. My goal is to create lasting family bonds through safe touch by reducing stress in all aspects of life. Through massage, you can learn to manage many diseases that accompany stress due to chronically elevated stress hormones. My goal, first and foremost, is to bring a new generation of children in learning the importance of stress management and safe therapeutic massage so they can know a sense of safe boundaries.” |
